Holding Deal Africa only collects the information needed to handle your requests. This website contains no advertising, no advertising trackers and no third-party audience measurement tools.

Data we collect
Contact form
- Your name and, if you provide it, your company.
- Your phone number — required, as it is our main way of replying.
- Your email address, optional.
- The subject of your request and your message.
- The reference of the product concerned, when you write from a catalogue page.
Quote request
In addition to the information above, the quote form collects the details that determine a price:
- the references of the equipment concerned and the quantity required;
- the country and city of delivery;
- the intended use and the desired timeline;
- any financing needs.
Newsletter
The sign-up banner on the News page only collects your email address, together with the page from which you signed up. This address is used solely to send you news and new stock from Holding Deal Africa: it feeds no other processing and is not matched with any contact or quote request.
You can ask to be removed from this list at any time by writing to secretariat@holdingdealafrica.com. Your address is then marked as unsubscribed and is no longer used.
Technical data
Each time a form is submitted, including a newsletter sign-up, we record your IP address and your browser identifier. These two items are used solely to limit automated submissions: beyond 5 requests in 10 minutes from the same address, submission is blocked. They are not used for any other purpose, nor cross-referenced with other sources.
Why we collect it
To respond to your request: call you back, draw up a priced quote and follow up your file commercially. If you have signed up to the newsletter, your address is also used to send you our news, and for that alone. Your information is not used for unsolicited marketing or for any profiling.
Who has access
Your requests can be viewed by the Holding Deal Africa staff in charge of commercial follow-up, through the website's administration area, whose access is restricted and password-protected.
Each request also triggers an email notification to the following internal addresses: secretariat@holdingdealafrica.com, fabrice@holdingdealafrica.com.
Your data is not sold, rented or passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.
How long
Contact and quote requests are kept for 3 years from the last exchange, so that a file can be picked up again or a business exchange can be evidenced. After this period, they are deleted. You can ask for them to be erased at any time.
Your rights
In accordance with the applicable personal data protection regulations, you have the following rights over the information concerning you:
- Access: find out what data we hold about you.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Erasure: ask for your data to be deleted.
- Objection: refuse the processing of your data.
To exercise these rights, write to secretariat@holdingdealafrica.com stating your request. We reply within a reasonable time, and within one month at the latest.
Cookies and third-party services
This website sets a single technical cookie, needed for the forms to work and to remember your comparison selection. It is not used for any tracking and disappears when you close your browser. No consent is required for this kind of strictly functional cookie. If your browser is set to English, the website suggests its English version: your answer is kept in your browser's local storage, so that you are not asked again, and is sent nowhere.
The website's fonts and images are hosted on our own servers: viewing the pages sends no information to any outside service.
Two exceptions, in both cases triggered by you alone:
- if you click a WhatsApp button, you are redirected to the app, which is then governed by its publisher's privacy policy;
- on the Contact page, the map is not loaded by default. It is only displayed if you click “Show the map”, and only at that moment does Google receive your IP address and set its cookies. The “Directions” button sends nothing: it opens your device's navigation app.
Security
Exchanges with this website are encrypted. Access to the administration area is limited to authorised accounts. We never ask for bank details through a form: no payment information passes through this website.
Complaints
If you consider that the processing of your data does not comply with the regulations, you may refer the matter to the competent data protection authority in Côte d'Ivoire.
Changes
This policy may change if the processing changes. The date of the last update is shown at the bottom of this page.
